7 Days To A Better Life When You Feel Fat And Unmotivated


Are you being yourself? It’s an odd question to ask when you’re looking for a quick tip to getting your health back on track. But it’s an important one…  one that will change your life in 7 days – if you follow my strategy.

I’ve helped many people that spend their teenage years in great shape playing sports, only to one day realize that they’re not the same person they once were. They’ve spent the last decade chasing their dream without considering the consequences.

Fat has creeped up all over their body and motivation is low. Symptoms of a poor lifestyle have kicked in and they feel tired. They’ve most likely tried just about every fitness “solution”.

This lack of confidence often trickles down to your work and family life. Yet you can turn it around in 7 days, if you practice what you’re about to read every day of those 7.

Your first thought may be to get back into the exercise routine or maybe its trying to eat less junk food. You might think that losing a few pounds will give you the motivation and everything will be back to normal. The problem is… it won’t. Because the core question is not being asked.

Who Are You?

The exercise and food are just tactics on the surface and the problem is that you are only going to follow it for a short while. You may even reach your goal but without understanding yourself, you will slip back to being like everyone else.

The core of the problem is that you have lost who you are. You given to things you know you shouldn’t.

Everyone is busy chasing their dream – the hard part is to not lose yourself. It’s also hard to see the picture when you’re in the frame.

I can tell you one thing. “You’re probably not meant to be fat and unmotivated, it’s probably not who you are.” but you should find out.

Once you establish who you are as a person, you will be able to justify all habits you set in place for yourself. For example if you define that one of your core values is “self-respect”, you are more likely to stand by your actions. Now if you’ve read this far, I’m willing to believe that you value your well being.

If you don’t address what’s important to you, you will be reacting on how you feel in any given moment.

The Temptations Will Always Be Around You

For example, you go out for dinner on a Monday night. People around you order bad food that you were hoping wouldn’t happen because you are trying to eat healthy. It’s easy to convince yourself that you should give in and follow the crowd. But if you define and know that “self-respect” is part of your values, you will have see a clear line that you are not willing to cross. It’s a statement to everyone else about who you choose to be.

And the more you are assertive about who you are, the easier it gets. Assertiveness also happens to be one of the 7 healthy emotions I like to talk about.

You will also start to feel good and people will envy your will power. I guarantee that they will leave the dinner inspired by you (even after they heckle you), they will admire your will power. Meanwhile you know that it’s simply you, being you. The more you assert yourself, the easier it gets and the better the results you will achieve.

Here is an exercise that will help you define your values. I call it WHO I AM.

Once you’ve defined your top 10 values. Try to put reminders everywhere you can. You can decorate your office with art that matches each value. You can set your background on your computer or phone as a reminder. With constant messages reinforcing who you are, there’s no doubt to me you will start to see big changes in your quality of life.
