I sat through a presentation today for a design firm. The woman would present a slide on the screen filled with text and would then start talking to me.
I didn’t know whether to read the slide or to listen to her.
It’s difficult to process information if it is coming at you both verbally and in written form at the same time.
If you’re going to talk and use slides for a presentation it’s best to use photos and very little text. You’ll get more engagement.
