My daughter is almost 5 years old and she loves art. When she was 3 years old I gave her a giant canvas to paint. Instead of painting on the canvas, she painted her hands in different colors and printed them on the canvas. You can say that she had her own style. Recently I’ve seen a change. When I give her a canvas she likes to look at a picture of what she wants to paint and try to mimic it.
As we grow up, we look to different examples to guide us. We look to heroes as something to aim towards – to create a better version of ourselves. If you want to become a great basketball player it helps to look at LeBron James. Some people choose bad heroes unconsciously while others choose good ones. Heroes serve as an example to guide your actions. They give you a sneak peak as to what may be needed to get to where we want to go.
