I spent all day being filmed for a video about my journey (which I can’t wait to show you). Along with a camera crew I drove out to my small country town were I grew up. I stood in front of my childhood house.
I hadn’t been there since I was a teenager so it was a weird feeling. It was surreal. It made me think about where I started and how far I’ve come. I had a moment of gratitude for all the hardships as well as the good moments, all the good times and bad times. The good people and the bad people. Because it made me who I am today.
Sometimes it rains and we tend to tell our children the weather is bad out. But it’s not bad and it’s not good. It’s just raining and you can see it as bad or you can decide to just sing in it.
PS: I’ve started daily videos on my Instagram page. Tune in, engadge.
