Many people think that leadership is about titles or positions in a company but leadership is about one person’s influence over someone else.

Everyday we are influenced by the stories we hear. 65% of our verbal communication as humans is telling each other stories.

Stories influence. They have a magical way of making us understand the world around us. When viewing a story the same parts of the brain activate as if we are actually in it.

Part of a leaders job is to communicate the purpose of the company on a regular basis. Leaders need to give people stories they can tell themselves. Stories about the future. About change and the difference they are trying to make.
