Cultivating positive moments

I watched this woman from the coffee shop window drive up in her Mercedes, she’s carrying a handbag that could feed a village yet she’s unhappy. As she comes in the energy changed, she complained about the line up, about not having what she wanted, about the service taking too long. She never heard the music playing or felt the relaxing friendly vibe that was going on. Two people looked out from the prison bars, one saw the mud, the other saw the stars. If you’re disturbed by anything outside yourself, the pain doesn’t come from  the external thing itself but from your perception of it, your estimation of it. And that is something you have the power to change at any moment. Have a wonderful Easter.
