It’s clear that our planet is being destroyed. For some reason we watch the destruction and continue on with our day. We’re paralyzed in fixing it. It reminds me of a story from one of the Titanic survivors. He explains that when the Titanic was sinking hundreds of people stayed on board, refusing to get into the lifeboats because they were in denial it would ever sink. The media had convinced them that it was the greatest and safest boat. A similar situation is happening right now and we need to take action for the sake of our children’s children.
A good first step is to start with you. To be aware of your purchasing decisions. To choose companies that are eco-friendly and ideally give back more than they take. Buy local organic food from responsible growers. Try your best to personally minimize natures destruction.
But that’s not enough.
The problem with this step is that most people are still fighting for their own survival, not having the mind-frame to think beyond their own economical survival. Most people are living unconsciously and we need the conscious to teach them a new way of seeing the world. We need women to stand up and use their natural abilities.
The second step I believe lies in entrepreneurship. What we need are more entrepreneurs willing to start non-profits to fight the devastation. We need investors that care more about impact then profit.
Entrepreneurs are the modern day warriors. Just look at what Elon Musk has been able to to in short amount of time. The opportunities are everywhere.
My goal with my blog is to teach people what I’ve learned through entrepreneurship to not only help your own personal situation but in hopes that you will get out there and make a difference. And remember this quote:
“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has.” Margaret Mead
