The Pit Stop

If you’ve been reading my blog you know how important it is to be the painter not the paint. Meaning that you need to take the time to work on your business instead of in it. It’s an easy concept to understand but a hard one to apply.

Most entrepreneurs and renegades say they know the importance but don’t have time or that they can’t afford the loss.

But what if you had no choice?

The race car driver knows that you can’t avoid the pit stops or they will lose the race. The pit stop is a time to refuel and rebuild. The pit stop is not a trade off, it’s just part of the race. It’s a mindset.

The time excuse is a made up story, it’s never a time issue – it’s always a priority issue.

You have to prioritize being the painter and plan regular pitstops in your schedule if you want to win.
