The Things You Own End Up Owning You


Do we really need more stuff? People fighting over sales only to fill their house with needless things. We have more stuff today than a king would have had just a few centuries ago. Even though it’s clear that more stuff doesn’t make us more happy. More stuff often means less freedom, more problems, more worries, more distractions.

Neil Patel took this concept to a whole other level when he chose to become a homeless entrepreneur. Though that’s an extreme example to me, I think it’s a good reminder of what can be gained when you get rid of stuff and start focusing on the people and experiences instead.
