What’s the deal with free range?
Before you look at the chart, I want to mention one important vitamin that most people lack in their diets:
Vitamin A (retinol) acts as an antioxidant protecting the body from pollutants and free radicals. A crucial vitamin to fight of disease. It stimulates secretion of gastric juice needed for protein digestion and plays a vital role in building strong bones and rich blood. Other great sources of preformed vitamin A includes fish liver oils, organ meats, butter and seafood. If you’re not eating any of these foods, be sure you’re consuming high quality eggs.
