We only remember about 10% of what we hear yet we keep telling people what to do only to get disappointed when they don’t listen.

A leaders job isn’t to tell people what to do, it’s to get people to the point of understanding.

Yet when I ask leaders why something wasn’t done, they’re often quick to say “I told them, but they didn’t listen.”

Shifting the blame is the easy way out. But why didn’t they listen?
